What Makes MU Prep Unique?

A focus on college and career readiness.

We not only encourage students to explore their options for life after high school, we also provide them with enriching opportunities to apply their learning in real-world experiences. Beginning in middle school, students seek to discover where they want to go and how they can get there through experiential opportunities.

A tailored approach with individualized support.

We believe that every student should have access to a high-quality education that fits their needs and their lives. Our teachers and staff personalize learning around each student. We take a proactive approach, offering support and enrichment to all students—before they need help—so that they will thrive.

Strong school culture that promotes community.

Living the values of our faith-based culture extends beyond the classroom for our students. We foster community amongst our students and families, encouraging them to engage with one another in service and faith.

Curriculum & Program

We have created an independent Catholic school program to meet the individual needs of each family. With the K12 curriculum, our school offers high-quality, relevant academics designed for modern students.

English

Students strengthen reading, writing, and communication while exploring literary interpretation, analytical writing, and oral communication skills.

Math & Science

Real-world concepts come alive as students explore a wide range of core math and science subjects, from algebra and geometry, to physics.

Social Studies

Age-appropriate lessons teach students about the interconnected U.S. and World history from prehistoric to modern times.

Elementary School

Our elementary Religion program follows RCL Benziger’s Blest Are We Faith in Action, offering practical ways to help students live their faith throughout their lives.

Middle School

The middle school faith curriculum uses “Blest Are We” materials. The four chapters in each unit correlate to the four pillars of the Catechism: What Catholics Believe, How Catholics Worship, How Catholics Live, and How Catholics Pray.

High School

The high school faith curriculum uses the Ave Maria Press “Encountering Jesus” Series. Through the study of Scripture, the Creed, the Church, the liturgy and the Sacraments, and Christian morality, students are led progressively to a deeper understanding and practice of their faith.

Advanced Study Program

In concert with Marian University’s Saint Joseph College, high school juniors and seniors can take college courses either virtually or in-person.

Career Courses

In addition to core courses, students take career-focused courses to explore high-demand fields, connect with industry professionals, and pursue internships or apprenticeships.

Digital Pathways

In partnership with Tallo, K12 is equipping high school students with real-world training and industry-recognized certifications.

Accredited by the nations top educational institutions

The flexibility of a virtual education, combined with the program’s faith-based curriculum and academic rigor, makes MU Prep the perfect fit for our family.
